Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our
product-facing team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining
high-performance web applications used by thousands of enterprise customers every day.
You will collaborate closely with product designers, backend engineers, and
stakeholders to deliver world-class user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable React / TypeScript UI components and design systems.
- Drive front-end performance optimisation — lazy loading, code-splitting, memoisation.
- Own the full development lifecycle from design review to production deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, establish best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on REST and GraphQL API contracts.
- Write unit and integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Vercel.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Deep expertise in React 18+ and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of browser rendering, Web APIs, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1).
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Jotai).
- Familiarity with build tooling — Vite, Webpack, or esbuild.
- Solid grasp of CSS fundamentals, Tailwind CSS, or CSS-in-JS solutions.
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js / SSR / SSG patterns.
- Exposure to micro-frontend architectures.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Familiarity with backend Node.js / Express or tRPC.
- Previous experience working with design systems (Radix UI, shadcn/ui).
